Nicola comes from a background of social care (BTec level 3 National Diploma in Social Care & Diploma in Welfare studies) including voluntary work with The Caerphilly Parent Network facilitating a parenting group to encourage and support parents with issues affecting themselves and their families. This involved attending meetings with local government as the voice of parents, especially single parents, in the Rhymney Valley. Nicola previously volunteered for many years with a Cardiff gateway club supporting adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Nicola has been with WPI and formerly WPP from the beginning, she began her work placement in 2007 and worked her way through Business qualifications NVQ level 1 Administration, HND Business and Management, Foundation Degree in Business and Law and last but not least City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Book-Keeping and Accounts & City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Computerised Accounts 2014,

Nicola is on reception 9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursdays, to happily answer enquiries from the public and other organisations and she particularly enjoys supporting the Students.
