Psychotherapy
My approach as a gestalt psychotherapist is embedded in the gestalt principles of presence, phenomenology and the relational field. I work relationally which is a central concept of contemporary Gestalt theory, which views the human experience as something which emerges from the interaction between an individual and their environment. My aim is to create a safe space to support you to explore whatever you need to bring to therapy and this can include working creatively if appropriate.
Supervision
My approach to supervision is rooted in the gestalt principles of presence, phenomenology and the relational field. I view supervision as collaborative where we attend to the process occurring between us as a mirror to the clinical work. My aim is to create a safe space that supports open dialogue to explore and reflect on your practice. The supervision process can enhance your clinical skills, ensure you work ethically, safely and can be a supportive space for your emotional wellbeing in this work.
